The Coronavirus Affecting ACTCP

To all ACTCP members,

At this time the University of Missouri has issued an order for all non-essential employees to work from home and not to go to any University facilities. This includes the Great Plains ADA Center offices. While our offices are closed, the ADA Center will still be answering any questions you may have about the ACTCP, however we will not be at the office to answer the phone. During this period, please leave a voicemail message or send an email and one of our staff will contact you back.

In addition to not being able to take immediate calls, we also will not be able to distribute anything that needs to go out via USPS. This includes all new member packets and any hard copy certificates earned by those passing the final exam. If you have recently registered for the program we will still send you a new member packet whenever we get the okay to go back to the offices. Those who earn the certification by passing the final online exam will not be mailed a hard copy at this time but will still receive an electronic copy of the certificate. This will be posted in the Professional Development area of the ACTCP website under the Certifications/Programs tab. You may view and print it from there. Once we are back in the office we will make it a priority to mail out any hard copy certificates that were earned.

For those that had planned to attend the now cancelled National ADA Symposium to get the needed in-person credits, we are working with the other Great Lakes ADA Center on setting up a series of webinars that will covered the Foundation topics. We hope to have information about that up very soon so please be on the look-out for further information.

Your patience is greatly appreciated at this time as we figure all of this out. We are dedicated to providing you with top quality ADA training but have to adjust our normal methods to ensure that what we are providing is safe for all. If you have any questions at all, please email us at

Please stay safe, obey local restrictions and please remember to wash your hands.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to take so many classes online. This really is really a silver lining.
